Mojave Off Road Enthusaists (MORE) and the KARTEK Gold Cup Challenge took to Southern California's Mojave Desert in 1997 after the fall of the La Rana Desert Racing Series, hosting off-road desert races for such vehicles as the off-road truck, SUV, 4X4, prerunner truck, buggy, VW bug and JeepSpeed Jeep Cherokee XJ. The races take place in the Mojave Desert of Southern California and include locations such as the Spangler Hills OHV of Ridgecrest, Stoddard Wells Valley OHV of Barstow and Johnson Valley OHV of Lucerne Valley.

The 2007 Mojave Off Road Enthusaists (MORE) and the KARTEK Gold Cup Challenge Series takes to the Johnson Valley Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area in Lucerne Valley, California for the 2007 MORE Johnson Valley race. The off-road desert race is the fifth race of the off-road desert racing series. The off-road desert race includes such vehicles as the off-road truck, SUV, UTV, 4X4, prerunner truck, buggy, VW bug and JeepSpeed Jeep Cherokee XJ.
